When I am not at western michigan I am usually working at my family's RV dealership doing content creation to post on our social media channels (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok), email marketing campaigns, a little bit of SEO by creating blog posts and posting them to our blog page. I spend most of my time working but when I am not working I enjoy pheasant hunting at Rolling Hills in Marcelous, MI. It is a fantastic place to spend a Sunday morning. I also enjoy riding my Harley when the weather permits and working on my truck.
Other Things About Me
Some of my previous digital marketing experience includes working on Amazon Seller Central. Working on this platform is what got me into digital marketing and ultimately transferring to WMU's digital marketing program. While working on Amazon Seller Central I ran multiple different product ads on the platform and got good results like achieving a 25 ROAS on most product ads. While working on Amazon I also learned how design/create effective product listings to get a high number of conversions. I have a love hate relationship with Amazon, iykyk.

Outside of school and work, I stay busy with things I’m passionate about. I’m involved in Digital Marketing RSO, American Sign Language Club, and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society at Western Michigan University.

I also run a growing TikTok account (@trish.larkin) where I review products and collaborate with brands, combining my love for content creation and digital marketing.

One of the most meaningful things I do is volunteer at Great Lakes Burn Camp, a camp for kids who have experienced burn injuries. It’s an incredible experience that lets me give back and connect with an inspiring community.

I have extensive hands-on experience in digital marketing, including social media management, content creation, influencer collaborations, and email/text campaigns. As a Digital Marketing Assistant at ReJenerate Your Space, I develop marketing strategies, create content and ads, research trends, and track insights to boost sales. As a Digital Marketing Intern at Bare Beauty Bar & Spa, I managed social media, email, and text campaigns, created Instagram Reels, and collaborated with service providers and clients. Previously, as Social Media Manager for Jack's Custard & Co, I grew their TikTok and engaged customers online.

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the Miller Auditorium Student Influencer Program, where I applied my digital marketing skills from Western Michigan University – Haworth College of Business to promote The Lion King by The Walt Disney Company.

Additionally, in August, I participated in a digital marketing job shadow at Cleary University, where I learned various marketing tools, sat in on a marketing team meeting, and created content for both the university and my social media accounts. I’m truly grateful to the Cleary University marketing team for furthering my education and career development.

I’m eager to continue gaining experience through internships and freelancing to refine my skills further.

I am actively involved with WMU’s Digital Marketing Club as the Events Co-Director, where I plan and execute events and connect with speakers who align with student interests. I started off on the Events Team, where I supported directors and helped connect students, but was internally promoted to become a director this past semester!
Beyond marketing, I yearly volunteer at Special Days, a non-profit pediatric oncology camp that provides children with cancer and their siblings a traditional camp experience in a safe, supportive environment. Special Days has been a part of my life since I was 11 years old, and I have been volunteering since I was 18. I am currently working towards being a member of the associates board to help with content creation, marketing, and helping Camp connect with sponsors.

I am currently interning at a local Architecture firm in Kalamazoo where I focus on internal content creation, I also have an upcoming summer marketing internship at Cherry Republic that is focused on social media marketing and content creation. I have found a passion within marketing and my goal is to work in a way that I can drive engagement and enhance brand image through creativity and thoughtful decisions. I am eager for the opportunity to gain insights that will help to develop my skills.
